Academic Standards

Family Christian Academy endeavors to maintain a rigorous and challenging academic curriculum that focuses on the development of a Biblical worldview. Our curriculum, while academically rigorous, is also founded on Biblical principles. This prepares our students to become spiritually discerning young adults who can apply God’s truth throughout their lives.

Biblical Integration

​

Family Christian Academy integrates a Biblical worldview into all aspects of our institution. Therefore, our teachers and staff strive to integrate Biblical principles into their coursework daily and treat students as image bearers in our daily interactions. We expect anyone involved in any extracurricular activity to reflect a Christian lifestyle and Biblical worldview. All employees and volunteers must remain vigilant in protecting Family Christian Academy's integrity, philosophy, mission, and purpose.

Lower School

At FCA, we provide a curriculum that is both academically challenging and spiritually focused. Students in our lower school have opportunities to participate in physical education, art, music, and technology, all within a safe and caring Christian environment.

Mustang Cadets

FCA is dedicated to providing its middle and high school students with an educational program that is academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and spiritually robust. Instructing in critical thinking skills, encouraging creativity, fostering collaboration, and pursuing practical communication skills will prepare middle and high school students for academic excellence as they pursue postsecondary education or entrance into a vocation.

 

High School Required Courses to meet Graduation Requirements

English 4 credits

Math 4 credits

Science 3 credits

History 3 credits

Foreign Language 2 credits

Health - Phys. Ed. 1 credit

Fine Arts 1 credit

At least two additional elective credits

Elective classes may include Band, Art, Cadets, Strength and Conditioning, and American Sign Language.
